Activities of the Science Foundation of the Academy include:
- co-financing of research projects involving the Academy,
- securing funding for the awards granted by the Academy,
- helping young scientists in technological and biotechnological professions, winners of the Vera Johanides Award for the Young Scientists, to acquire skills and knowledge and to stimulate their international affirmation through education, attendance at scientific meetings and through promotion in scientific work and research.
