  • 2010  Annual Science Award of the Republic of Croatia in the field of biotechnical sciences for the application of the scientific results – development of the probiotic concept (probiotics as food additives and probiotics as biotherapeutics) and application of starter cultures in Croatia;
  • 2006 “Rikard Podhorsky” Annual Award of the Croatian Academy of Engineering;
  • 2015 an accolade by the Croatian Microbiological Society in recognition of excellence in research, expertise and education in the area of applied microbiology;
  • 2017 silver medal for exposed results at International Exhibition of Innovations, New Ideas, Products and Technologies ARCA and 2007 First Prize of the Association of Polish Innovators at ARCA;
  • 2006 Award of the Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology University of Zagreb, in recognition of multiyear fruitful cooperation and outstanding contribution to the promotion of higher education, science and expertise.
