We were very sad to have received the notice from the family on the death of the distinguished Prof. Ljiljana Pilić-Rabadan, PhD, prominent Member Emerita of the Croatian Academy of Engineering in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, and retired Full Professor of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Naval Architecture of the University of Split, Croatia.
The distinguished Professor Ljiljana Pilić-Rabadan deceased on March 30, 2017, at the age of 88. She was interred on April 1, 2017, in Kaštel Lukšić, Croatia.
She was a member of the Academy from the earliest period of its founding, and gave a significant contribution to the activities of our Academy.
We shall always remember her as a notable scientist and expert.
Our deepest condolences go to the family, friends, and colleagues of Professor Ljiljana Pilić-Rabadan on behalf of the Governing Board, Presidency, and all members of the Academy.
